A Paraíba, estado localizado no Nordeste brasileiro, abriga o ponto mais oriental das Américas e tem em sua área litorânea reserva de mata atlântica, solo e clima próprios ao cultivo de farta variedade de flores e folhagens tropicais.
Alice Fernandes começou sua produção no município de Alhandra, Paraíba, em 1996. De lá para cá, tem se aprimorado em técnicas de cultivo, colheita, pós-colheita e embalagens. Desenvolveu a arte da decoração e especializou-se no paisagismo tropical.
Através de sua empresa, a Alice Flores Tropicais Comércio e Serviços Ltda., tem levado o nome da Paraíba por diversos estados brasileiros e também ao exterior. As flores, bem como seus arranjos florais, decoram sofisticados ambientes, congressos e comemorações de um modo geral. Destacam-se pela beleza, exotismo e durabilidade.
Por ser um produto com vocação para exportação, a flor tropical tem recebido do Governo Federal e do Sebrae, tratamento especial como fontes de divisa em expansão para o País.
Alice tem em seu currículo participação em diversas feiras nacionais e internacionais. Integrou várias missões técnicas organizadas pelo Sebrae ao exterior, representou o Estado de Pernambuco durante a Mostra de Artesanato e Flores Tropicais do Brasil, no Palácio do Planalto, em Brasília, faz parte da diretoria da Reciflora Associação dos Produtores de Flores e Plantas Tropicais de Pernambuco, ministrou vários cursos de arranjos florais a convite em Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte e Paraíba, e é responsável pelo projeto dos mais belos jardins tropicais de João Pessoa (PB) e Natal (RN).

The flowers and its floral arrangements, decorate sophisticated environments, conventions and celebrations in a general way. They are distinguished for their exotic beauty, and durability.
As a talented product for exportation, the tropical flower has received from the Government and from Sebrae, special treatment as source of verge in expansion all over Brazil.
Alice has in her resume participation in a lot of national and international events. She integrated some technical missions - organized by Sebrae to visit markets aboard - represented the State of Pernambuco during the event Mostra de Artesanato e Flores Tropicais do Brasil, in Brasília. She´s also a member of the direction of the Reciflora - the Producers of Flowers and Tropical Plants of Pernambuco Association, taught in some courses of floral arrangements in Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte and Paraíba, and she´s responsible for the project of the most beautiful tropical gardens in João Pessoa (PB) and Natal (RN).
